You are currently viewing monthly installment mobile phone in uae without credit card

Updated on 8 October 2026.

A mobile-phone instalment purchase in the UAE may be possible with a debit card where the retailer offers an eligible buy-now-pay-later service. Availability depends on the merchant, phone, provider and approval decision; it is not a guaranteed way to obtain a phone without a credit assessment.

A verified example: Tabby

Tabby’s UAE payment guide says customers can link a debit or credit card. It advertises Pay in 4 without interest or fees and longer plans of up to 12 payments, for which a service fee may apply. Its eligibility criteria include being at least 18, having a valid national ID, a valid payment card and a good credit history. Approval and spending limits are assessed individually.

How to check a phone purchase

  1. Select the exact device at a participating retailer and look at the payment methods offered.
  2. Check whether the provider accepts your debit card and whether the purchase is eligible.
  3. Read the first-payment amount, remaining due dates, total payable and any fees before accepting.
  4. Check the retailer’s return policy and how a refund affects scheduled payments.
  5. Keep the agreement and ensure enough funds are available for each payment.

What changed from the older guide?

The previous version described instalment services as an emerging trend in 2021 and listed fixed terms for several providers. Those historical descriptions should not be treated as current offers. This update uses a verified provider example; it does not confirm the present availability or terms of Postpay, Tamara, Cashew or Spotii.
