KhaleejPage uses the following process to reduce factual errors and keep practical UAE guidance useful.
Before publication
- Identify the claim. We separate verifiable facts—such as fees, eligibility, dates, contact channels, and required documents—from general explanation.
- Check primary sources. We look first for the responsible UAE authority, regulator, institution, bank, telecom provider, school, or service operator.
- Cross-check material details. When a fact could affect money, eligibility, access, or a legal obligation, we seek confirmation in a second authoritative source or clearly state that the reader must verify it directly.
- Review links and dates. Official links, phone numbers, service names, and time-sensitive references are checked before a page is published or materially updated.
Source hierarchy
We give the greatest weight to official laws, government portals, regulator notices, published provider terms, and first-party announcements. Reputable news or specialist sources may be used for context. Social posts, forums, and user comments are not treated as sufficient proof for a material claim.
When information is uncertain
If reliable sources conflict or a process varies by emirate, institution, account type, or applicant, we explain the limitation and direct readers to the responsible organization. We do not present assumptions as confirmed facts.
Updates
UAE services and commercial terms can change. Review dates show when a policy page was last checked; article dates do not guarantee that every external rule remains current. Readers should verify critical details on the linked official source before acting.
Corrections
Readers and organizations may report an error through our contact page. Please include the article URL, the disputed statement, and a supporting official source where possible. We review correction requests on their evidence, not on the identity or commercial interest of the requester.
When an error is confirmed, we correct the page. A material correction may include an explanatory note; minor spelling or formatting corrections may be made without one.
