Renewing your Etisalat/e& mobile registration means updating the identity details linked to your existing number. It is different from buying a SIM, replacing a damaged SIM or topping up your balance.

Renew online with UAE PASS
The official e& mobile registration renewal guide describes this process:
- Sign in to My Account with a verified UAE PASS account containing your valid Emirates ID.
- Open Quick Access and choose Mobile Registration Renewal.
- Select the account to update.
- Approve the requested document sharing in UAE PASS.
- Review your details, enter the primary contact information, read the terms and submit.
Alternative verification and service channels
The same guide offers facial recognition using a valid Emirates ID, an OTP and a document/face scan. It lists the e& UAE app, website, and outlets/payment machines as renewal channels. People of determination and government/business entities are directed to outlets/payment machines.

This existing screenshot shows an earlier interface. Use the current registration-renewal option rather than a recharge or SIM-purchase screen.
After you submit
e& says UAE PASS renewal requests are generally approved within two hours. This is an indicative time, not a guarantee. Keep the confirmation and contact official support if the request remains unresolved.
Renew promptly after receiving your new Emirates ID; e& warns that non-renewal can lead to suspension or disconnection.
Checks that help avoid mistakes
- Review the account and number shown before submitting the request.
- Do not assume that a top-up has renewed your identity registration.
- If the process requests a payment or product purchase you did not expect, confirm with e& support which service you have opened.
- Keep a record of any error message and the request reference, without sharing identity documents publicly.
Do you also have a du number?
Follow our separate guide to updating Emirates ID details with du. Updating a record with one provider does not replace the other provider’s process.
