You are currently viewing Personal Loan with AED 3,000 Salary in the UAE

Reviewed on 8 October 2026.

A salary of AED 3,000 can meet the advertised minimum for some UAE personal finance products, but it does not guarantee approval. Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) currently lists personal finance starting at this salary level. Ask the bank to confirm eligibility for your employer, income and existing commitments before applying.

What DIB currently advertises

The official DIB personal finance page lists a maximum tenure of 48 months and reducing annual profit rates from 5.99% to 21.99%. These are advertised product terms, not a personalised quotation. Your approved amount, rate and monthly payment depend on the bank’s assessment.

DIB states that salary transfer is not mandatory for this product. However, documentation and eligibility conditions still apply. Promotional payment holidays have separate conditions and should not be assumed to apply to an AED 3,000 salary.

Documents to prepare

DIB lists identity documents, an employer salary or end-of-service-benefit letter, and bank statements among its requirements. Its personal finance brochure also mentions credit-bureau consent and additional documents for particular financing structures. Request the checklist for your own application before submitting personal information.

How to compare an offer

  • Ask for the Key Fact Statement and a written repayment schedule.
  • Check the total amount repayable, monthly instalment and all applicable fees.
  • Confirm whether the quoted rate is flat or reducing; the percentages are not directly interchangeable.
  • Ask about early settlement, missed payments and any takaful or insurance charges.
  • Allow for rent, food, transport and essential bills before deciding whether a payment is affordable.

Applying and following up

Start from DIB’s official website or a branch. Confirm that the product accepts your circumstances, provide only the requested documents through the bank’s channels, and keep your application reference. An enquiry or an advertised minimum salary is not final approval.
